Genetically modified foods

I disagree with the genetically modified foods because it isn’t right for scientist to mess around with natural genes of plants and animals. In the long term genetic modified foods may be the cause of changes that are undesirable or directly dangerous. Genetically modified foods could be dangerous to eat, and we don’t how what the effects would be. It’s wrong to introduce the DNA of one species into the genes of another like fish genes in tomato plants to protect it from frost.

The scientists are trying to play god which they are interfering with nature. Scientists aren’t sure about the long the term effect of the genetically modified foods. Playing around with DNA is wrong, they shouldn’t play around with the DNA if they don’t know what the side effects are. It could risk peoples health, life and there allergies.

Film Critic Review.
Great effects. Pity about the plot. This is a film critic’s review. I completely agree and understand this review because for technology in the 90’s (which wasn’t that great in that era), it was amazing to see how detailed and real looking the dinosaurs actually were. I did find the plot to be a bit boring because like all movies of that era, they always end with a good ending. It would have been a great movie if there was a twist in which it looked like they made it out but then a disaster strikes them and they died. I also didn’t like the fact that they used a lot of scientific words which can confuse a lot of the viewers. Because a lot of the viewers of the movie are around 15 to 25 years of age. I do agree with the film critic one hundred percent. This movie is actually a recommendation for people with a very large knowledge of dinosaurs and the people who want to learn about the dinosaurs in a movie way or have a really easy understandings of scientific words. I would give this a movie rating of 3 out of 10.

Do we right to play with Nature

Some people believe that food should be genetically modified so that way it will be larger. Some people believe that it is ‘playing god’. If you want my opinion, I reckon that only certain foods should be modified such as wheat, barley, oats and rice. Other foods such as vegetables, meat, dairy products and poultry should not be genetically modified because they are more likely to be harmful to humans because they can cause allergies, gene transfer and they are also more prone to pesticide diseases. There has been mass criticising about scientist genetically modifying food and there has actually been cases of hippies destroying and stealing the food. In 1996, genetically modified food was first legally sold on the market. But it was soon taken off for health reasons, because some people were affected by it. I agree with but then I don’t..

I don’t think it is appropriate for scientists to interfere when humans have survived perfectly fine before they started to modified food. I know scientists are just trying to improve the world’s food supply but there is simply no need for it. It’s also very dangerous to modify the foods e.g. if scientists use fish genes in tomatoes to protect the tomatoes from frost, the consumer might have an allergy to fish and could have an allergic reaction to the tomato. It is not right for scientist to modify years of natural development for basically no reason at all, and there are only a very few amount who would prefer genetically modified foods over natural food, so it would not be a big loss if they stopped modifying foods.

Genetically modified food is something that may cause long term risk if scientists don’t know what they are doing but is it possible to know the risks of genetically modified foods in a constantly changing world.

I disagree with genetically modified foods because scientists are just trying to play god which means they are interfering with nature. Genetically modified food causes many concerns including environmental hazards, health risks and economic concerns. Some of the health risks could be that many people may be allergic to two genes that could be modified together which could cause serious illness or even death. Bringing genetically modified foods to the shops is a lengthy and costly process. If these plant crops cross-pollinate with each other, it could make a new plant which could be harmful to people and the environment. Then, if this happens a new gene would be introduced called the ‘suicide gene’ which would be put into the genetically modified food plant. This means that the plant would only grow for one season and their seeds wouldn’t germinate but then farmers would have to buy a fresh supply of seeds each year. However, farmers from the third world countries might not be able to afford new seeds each year and then that could put them out of business.

In conclusion, genetically modified foods aren’t really necessary because there is no reason to cause a risk to health and the environment if we can already manage without the modified foods.

I think we should genetically modify food. It would be a good thing to do because it would save a lot of animals and help the farmers a lot. We could make fruits and vegetable that is frost resistant which would help farmers to get more money for their crops. It would also help by making plants vulnerable to pests and other thing that eat plants. If we were to genetically modify food we could make food that is drought resistant. It would also help the poor countries because they would be able to grow food which grows faster and we would be able to give them food. We could also make food which can grow all year round instead of growing in different seasons.

It would also help with people health; we could put extra nutrition in some types of food. We could also make fat food that is a lot healthier but still tastes good. Also if we genetically modified food it would be a lot cheaper for people to buy. It would be cheaper because there would be a lot more of it.

So I think genetically modified food would be a good thing and it would solve a lot of problems we have to do with food.

I think what the critic said is a fair statement. I think it meant that it had really good effects for a movie made in the 90’s but had a really bad story line that wasn’t all that interesting. When they say “great effects” they talk about how the dinosaurs and the environment looked. They looked realistic and moved as they would of millions of years ago. Also when they say “Pity about the plot” I think they meant that the story line wasn’t that good and the actors weren’t playing their role that well to make it more realistic.

I agree with the stamen because I think it fits the movie well. I didn’t like the movie that much because the plot wasn’t that good.

The Critic is basically saying that he or she likes the look of the dinosaurs and the small things that happened to make the movie look good. For example the fence sparks and the dinosaur’s snot that gets all over John Hammond’s granddaughter. The critic also says that the plot wasn’t that good which means that he or she didn’t like the main story and thought it could have been better.

I agree with the critic. I didn’t mind the graphics. Considering the age of the movie it had good graphical technology. I really disliked the plot, also it was very predictable and also it could have been longer and it had a horrible storyline.

I don’t agree with the review which said Great effects, Pity about the plot. I liked the plot and the effects and even know the effects were great and the plot wasn’t probably quite as good but it was still pretty good. This movie was made quite a long time ago so for them it was probably one of the most popular movies when it came out and was new.

If this film critic was right this wouldn’t have been such a popular movie when it came out and they wouldn’t of went on and made more of them if they didn’t sell them and make money out of them. If I had to give this movie a rate out of ten I would probably give it a 9/10 for the affects when it was made and for the plot I would give it a 7/10 which is still pretty good and overall I would give it a 8/10 for when it was made.

In Jurassic park they played around with DNA in dinosaurs and doing that is sort of like playing around with modified food. I don’t think that we should play around modified food because I think it should all be natural and we don’t know the affects that it could have on us in the future if we keep eating it. I don’t think we should play with modified foods because I think we should just have what comes straight out the ground with no chemical.

When they played around with DNA and dinosaurs it all went wrong and look what ended happening at the end of the movie. I think that if they play with modified food the same sort of thing could happen and it could all go wrong and people could get sick from it if they haven’t tested it enough like they didn’t on Jurassic Park.

Genetically modified foods could be dangerous. Whilst farmers have used them for years, it is wrong to bring together the DNA of one species into another’s genes. Also, scientists aren’t sure about the long term effects of genetically modifying food.

Government agencies are reluctant to stop genetically modifying food because of the power that the companies have with the governments.

Playing around with genes and DNA is wrong. They should just keep things the way they are and not change them, especially when they are unsure about the side effects. Also, it has been said that genetically modifying food can put people’s health at risk.

It has been proven that genetically modifying food does not always work. For example: Genetically modified crops do not increase yield.

In other words, genetically modifying food can risk the health and lives of people and the environment. It is unnatural and shouldn’t be allowed.

The critic statement is trying to say that the effect from the movie like, the animations of the dinosaurs, the effects of the jungle, island, and the different areas were the dinosaurs are kept, and how the dinosaurs move around and how they attack each other when hunting there pray. He also said that he didn’t like the plot of the movie because the way it was set up and, how they got Dr Grant and Ellie from there archaeological dig and brought them to the Jurassic park island and they had look around then got in the car and then everything started to happen and dinosaurs started to escaped and the system shut down.

I disagree with the critic because I like the effects and the plot, I liked how the dinosaurs felt real and the animations of the dinosaurs hunting, eating and playing and how they react to human and how the baby dinosaur hatched and all the fake blood looked real. How the people problem solved everything with the computer system.

The critic’s comment “Great effects. Pity about the plot,” is true. Whilst it’s a great film, and has used great effects, it’s very unrealistic. The set of the movie is great, perfect for dinosaurs, but they also emphasized on the sizes of the dinosaurs. I agree with the critic because he’s saying that he liked the movie, but the plot was to unrealistic, which was disappointing.

It’s highly unlikely that they could use the blood, to recreate things that were wiped off the Earth millions of years ago. It’s almost impossible to create something from that long ago. The idea on how to recreate dinosaurs was not very well thought through.

The critic is trying to say that they liked the effects from the movie, such as, the look of the dinosaurs, the look of the park and how the dinosaurs moved around. He also said that he didn’t like the plot of the movie which means he didn’t like the way the movie was set out. This could mean that he is trying to say that he didn’t like how the movie started of bad by the worker getting eaten and continued like that until to very end when the little girl saved the day by hacking the computer.
I disagree with the critic because I liked the effects and the plot. For example I liked how the dinosaurs looked real and acted like they would of when they lived. I also liked how the people reacted when the dinosaurs were chasing them and how they problem solved when the IT guy turned the power off.

Is the Critic right?
I disagree with the critic saying ‘Great effects. Pity about the plot’ as I think that the Jurassic park has a good plot. The movie in my opinion was deadly, exciting and interesting. The fact that the directors had thought about how dinosaurs could actually be created, made the movie a bit more realistic. Also the plot I thought was set out in a way that it kept the viewer interested, e.g. when the man got killed by the raptor in the opening scene made the viewer interested in the rest of the movie.

However I agree with the critic when he said that there were great effects, but the movie was first released in 1993 so the special effect have got a lot better since then, but overall for back then I thought the special effects were great. The way the dinosaurs moved around and the overall appearance was what I thought actual dinosaurs would look like.

Being a good friend is pretty easy, but you have to be there for your friends and if their upset or they have a problem just ask them whats wrong and make sure there ok.

If you friend need your help with a problem or if she/he upset you need to be there because they might just do something stupid or they might fight with the person there having a problem with.

Friends need you when there upset, crying, or need a hug or just to talk. when your friends are there for you just tell them whats wrong and they will give you advice and make sure your alright. friends should always tell your best friend the truth and never lie to them.

Being a good friend is not that hard, you just have to be there for them and help them get over problems and make everything okay. you could get them to give you advice

Your best friends and you have to get alone really well and would always tell the truth and never lie to each othe. If you promise each other never break that promise because you and your friend would have a big fight and never talk again.

How to get out of doing maths homework in Mr Charlton’s class DRAFT

In Mr Charlton’s maths class is quite hard to get out of homework; you have to think of really good reasons to get out of it. Reading this will help you think of better reasons for not doing your homework.

There are a number of ways to get out of homework in Mr Charlton’s class and not get more homework. One is family emergency you could say that you had a family member that is really ill and you had to take them to the hospital and that you would not leave there side.

The first step is to explain that one of your family members is really ill. You have to tell Mr Charlton that one of your family member’s is ill and you had to take them to the hospital and that you stayed there with them.

The second step if he does not believe you you’ll have to get a note in your diary signed by your parents saying that you didn’t do your home work because you were at the hospital waiting to see one of the family member’s.

The third step if he still does not believe you get him to ring up your family and get them to tell him that what you said was true and that you have a reason for not doing your homework.

I think that what I told you should work if you have one of those reasons so just get a note or get your parents to ring up and say why you did not do your homework

Minecraft Basics Explanation

This Explanation will explain the basics of Minecraft and what to do when you first spawn (To appear on a random part of the map then you can move about freely) on the map. This will help to give you a good idea on how to make your house and other thing as you read. The first thing you need to do when you sign into Minecraft when starting a new world is name the world then enter the random seed to generate the worlds look.

When you spawn look around and see where you are and then mark your spawn with a piece of sand or anything you wish. If you spawn in an area with mountains around it is a good idea to make a small house inside of the actual mountain because it is helpful. But at the moment you need to go and look for some trees. If you have spawned near a mountain there should always be a forest filled with trees.

Make some wood planks out of the wood you have collected and make a crafting table then make a wooden pick axe. A wooden pick axe is a horrible tool but if you didn’t make one you wouldn’t get very far in the game at all. Make sure you have collected the crafting table that you made earlier then make your house by using the pick axe.

Once you have cut out a reasonable amount from the mountain from your house it is time to upgrade your tools so make yourself a stone pickaxe. By now it is nearly night so you will want some coal 3 pieces of wool and a door. Go and get some wool and coal is usually found inside a mountain so it is easy to find. Go to get about 10 pieces of sand and go to your house.

You should be able to make a furnace with the cobble you have collected, but first you’ll want to make that door for your house so no monsters can get in. Now you will be thinking “Why do I need this worthless sand?” well you need some windows. Now make a furnace and if you have enough wood OR coal you will want to make some windows by putting the sand into the furnace. Now while the glass is cooking make a bed and some torches. Put the door down at the spot of your choice and then the bed and go to sleep. Make some holes to put the windows in then put the glass in. Then light up your room with the torches that you made. Now you have got a good hideout to be safe from the monsters at night.

This is a guide made for the people having a hard time with this game. I hope this helps you play this game without dying all of the time.

Excuses for not doing your homework - Mad

Do you really hate it when you leave your homework at home when its due that day? or can you just not be stuffed doing it?. Well I'm going to tell you 3 effective ways to con your teacher in letting you hand it in the next day.

The first and most reliable excuse would be that one of your relatives was seriously injured and is in hospital and your famly went to see him/her. this has a good chance of working and works better if you have a note from your parents saying it actualy happened.

The second excuse you could use would be that you saw a kid walking around a lake. then saw tghem fall in so you jumped in to save them. but you had your homework in your back pocket and it got rewend. this excuse works good if you show your teacher a rewend peice of paper.

The last excuse you could try is that you were walking down the street last night. then a ufo can down and took your home work. then tha aliens said the needed to use it to studdy the human brain and would return it tommorow. this excuse has a big chance of not working if your teacher dosnt believe in aleins.

I hope these excuses help you in the future and dont get you in to much trouple. try to be confident and sound casual so the teacher believes you. thank you for reading.

How To Be a Good Friend

There are many ways to become a good friend. It could either take a lot of work, depending on how close you want to be with your friend, or it could be really easy. By using some of the examples on how to become a good friend below and if you stick to it and persist, you could be the friend everyone wants.

You need to be really nice to your friends. Help them when they need it. Treat them how you would want to be treated. For example: Use your manners. Don't treat them rudely otherwise they will probably not want to be friends with you anymore.

Earn your friends trust. Tell them things, showing that you trust them, then they will realise you're trustworthy. Let them know that you'll always be there for them, no matter what. When they're sad, cheer them up. Make them smile when no one else can.

Back your friends up in fights. Support them through it all. No matter how silly or bad the fight is, you will help them and back them up as much as possible. If they know that you will help them through a fight and support them, then they will help and support you back.

These are the main things you can easily do to be a good friend. Once you earn their trust, you could even become best friends. Make sure you're honest to them. Don't keep things from them that they should know. Don't talk about them behind their back, unless it's something they want someone to know. Stay positive, even though there are ups and downs, you can still become a good friend.

How To Set Up A Fish Tank

Once you have brought the fish tank there are a few things you need to think about before buying the fish.

When you choose a place for the tank to go in the house it needs to be away from loud noises such as TV's, radios, washing machines and fridges. Fish get stressed out when exposed to the loud noise.

Before the tank is filled with water, it needs to be wiped clean with a new cloth and warm water.

Now it's time to add some decorations and electrical equipment to the tank. Once you choose what decorations you want to place in the tank, make sure you wash them before putting them in the tank. Also have a mixture of real and artificial plants. A filter is needed to maintain clear and healthy water. A heater is also needed to maintain the right temperature for your fish.

Now you know how to set up a fish tank, you can buy a fish. Fishes are a great first pet and are easy to look after.

How To Be A Good Friend!

A friend is a person you can trust with your secrets and be able to tell them anything and they wont judge you. But how do you be a good friend?

To make friends you have to introduce yourself and make conversation. To make conservation you could ask them where they are from, when their birthday is, if they have any brothers or sisters, what kind of sport they play and if they have any pets. Try to be nice and polite. Answer their questions honestly and try to find things in common.

To be a good friend you have to listen to your friends and help them with their problems no matter what they are. You have to have some sense of humour, you have to respect them and what they want. Include them and if they don't want to do something you shouldn't pressure them into it.

To keep a friendship you should keep every secret they tell you, even the little ones because they are the ones that matter. Stick up for them when someone is dissing them and never pick a fight with them. Being good friends doesn't mean that you have everything in common and you like the same things although these things do help, it means that you have differences and you are willing to accept and work around them.

Without friends your life would be dull and boring. Friends can turn bad days into good days and true friends will be with you through no matter what.

Johnny's Eulogy Courtland

I remember when I first met johnny, he had big black eyes and a dark tanned face, his hair was jet-black and heavily greased and combed to the side. Johnny was the pet (would you call your friend a 'pet' at their funeral?) of the gang everyones kid brother.


Johnny had no real family, we were his family, the gang was there for Johnny if he needed a place to stay he was always welcome. Johnny was like a little brother in the gang, everyone cared so much about Johnny. Johnny made the gang stay together, he got along with the gang. (using the word 'gang' too much, can you think of another word to use?)

Johnny was a true friend, he cared about his friends alot. Johnny would care about what ever you tell him, he would listen what you have to say. If you were upset johhnny would always be there.

Johnny really loved the book called, " Gone With The Wind". He would always ask me if I could read the book. Johnny loved the gang. He was always with the gang. (The last two sentences sound like they have been added on without any real connection to the previous sentences plus you have mentioned these points already in previous paragraphs)


Johnny cared deeply for his friends, he always there for the gang and he cared about the guys.(again repeating what you have said above) Johnny was always there for me. when something would happen to me Johnny would be there for me and made sure I was ok.

I will best remember Johnny as a young brave boy, he put his life on a hook (on the line) to save those kids in the church.

The Outsiders

I remember when I first met Johnny while kicking the football on a Sunday night at 10:27pm (very specific - do you think you would actually remember the exact time you met?) we were talking a lot I founded out that we have (needs to be past tense) a lot in common.

Johnny had no real family so we acted as if he was my older brother. Johnny was a true friend he would help me out out if I was in trouble. Johnny loved the book Gone with the Wind. Johnny really cared deeply for his frineds he would do any thing for them. I will best rember him when he saved me and the little kids. Like he all ways said stay gold saty gold. (firstly - what does stay gold mean to Ponyboy and secondly - this paragraph has more than one topic: stay gold, friendship, books, being a hero. A paragraph should focus on one point only)

Writing your eulogy

How might Ponyboy write his eulogy?
He might focus on what a gallant person Johnny was. Possibly he might discuss how supportive Johnny was. He might talk about the obstacles Johnny had overcome in life. He would most certainly have used literature references in the eulogy ie comparing Johnny to the gallant southern gentlemen from the novel Gone with the Wind.
Here's an important quote from Johnny maybe it would be useful for Ponyboy when writing his eulogy.

‘Listen, I don’t mind dying now. It’s worth it. It’s worth saving those kids. Their lives are worth more than mine, they have more to live for. Johnnys Eulogy

I still remember when I first met Johnny like it was yesterday. I was playing footy with Sodapop and Darry. When i saw him walk past the field with a black eye and asked him if he wanted to play football with us. He was really good at it and we ended up beating Soda and Darry by 5 goals. Then as the weeks went on we became real good friends and he became a Greaser.

Johnny had no real family. He use to run away from home to the park or my house and talk to me about his family. So us Greasers took him as our little brother even though he was older than me and we would always look after him. He was a real nice kid and was loved by all of us.

Johnny was a true friend to me. Where ever I'd go he went and where ever he went I'd go. We would always hang out at the park and go to the movies. We use to always look out for each other. I will never forget that time when he saved my life.

Johnny loved the gang more than anything, it was all he had. Johnny also loved the novel 'Gone with the wind'. I'd use to read it to him at the church. Johnny also had a dream that he didn't get to achieve. He always wanted to go somewhere else the beside here. The first time he ever left here was when we went to the country (Windrixville).

Johnny said to me before he died "listen, I dont mind dying now. Its worth it. it's worth saving those kids. Their lives are worth more than mine, they have more to live for. some of their parants came by to thank me and i know it was worth it..."

Johnny should best be remembered as a hero by everyone.

Johnny's Eulogy

I remember when I first met Johhny I was playing around with the football by myself. I was only about 6 or 7 years old and I saw Johnny looking at me, he was sitting in the gutter so I asked him to come and join me. We played a game of football with my brothers Darry and Sodapop, we got talking and started playing together more often, then all of a sudden we became best friends. Then he joined us Greasers and started basically being in our family.

Johnny had no real family, we were his family, we were the people he could trust and feel safe with, finally he belonged somewhere and that was with us. He was so nice, he got along with everybody. Towards the end of his life he was known as a hero because he saved the kids in the church and that's what killed him. Johnny and I had lots of memories together there were some good and some bad but they were mostly good because we got along so well together. We spent most of our life together he was the best friend anyone could ever have.

Johnny was a true friend he got along with everybody because he was so kind and giving, well that's what I liked him for anyway. He would help you out no matter what, like he saved all those kids in the church, there wouldn't be many other people that would risk there life to save someone they didn't even know. Johnny would never turn on you and you knew he will (should be past tense - 'would') always be there for you.

Johnny loved me reading him the novel Gone with the Wind when we were in the church. He once told me that he wanted to explore places all over the world but he never got the chance he had hardly ever been out of our neighbourhood. The only time he had is when Johnny and I had to go to Windrixville, there is so much more we could of done together but never got the chance and now we never (was missing) will.

I will never forget Johnny he was the greatest friend anyone can anyone can ever ask for, we did everything together and I will always remember us sleeping under the stars at the lot. I dought I would even be alive if it wasn't for Johnny I was going to get drowned until Johnny saved me. (these two sentences don't fit together - seperate ideas seperate paragraphs)

Johnny died being a hero and I think that is the best way to go and if I die knowing I'd helped lots of people and saved life's I would be happy. When we were at the church I told him a poem about nothing stays gold, and when he was about to die I said to Him "stay gold Johnny, stay gold and I bet you he will. (He said it to Ponyboy not the other way around)

Johnny's Eulogy---Lori

I remember when I first met Johnny with his black puppy dog eyes and his black greasy hair. He was shy and didn't talk very much, but that's who Johnny was.

Johnny didn't come from the best of families so we were his family. The greasers were his brothers, he knew we had his back through no matter what. He was a good friend and you could tell him anything and he would sit there, listening and never judging.

Johnny loved when I read to him, because he couldn't read that well he found it easier to listen to me. Johnny wanted to travel the country, he wanted to see and do so many different things and I wish I could still travel with him.

I will always remember when Johnny and I were up in the old church, the things we did and talked about to kill time were some of my best memories with Johnny.

Johnny died a hero and I wish that when I die I would die noble and for a good cause, like Johnny, not in some stupid rumble in the lot.

Johnny was my best buddy and I will always remember him...

The Outsiders - Eulogy

I remember when I first met Johnny. He was older and shorter than me. I'll never forget those big black puppy dog eyes that he had. The thick jet-black greasy hair he combed to the side, which was so long that it fell in shaggy bangs across his forehead.

Johnny had no real family. We were his family. His mates were like his brothers. He was the pet of our gang.

Johnny was a true friend, always helping his friends. He'd risk anything for us. He didn't go to school. He spent his time with his mates. He had never left this town. The only time he did was with me for a few weeks.

Johnny loved just being with the people he loved and cared about. We used to go to the drive in with Dally. He would do pretty much anything. He also enjoyed the book "Gone with the Wind." The scar across his face was from when he got bashed. That scar or that memory never stopped never stopped him from doing the things he loved to do.

Johnny cared deeply for his friends. Like I said before, he'd do anything to make them happy. He cared about them so much. We were all the family he never had.

I will never forget Johnny. He was always smiling and having fun with his mates. No matter how much pain he was in. Johnny died because he risked his life to save others.

The one poem that will always remind me of Johnny was written by Robert Frost.

Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief.
So dawn goes down to day.

Deep Sea Anglerfish!

The Deep Sea Anglerfish has a very large mouth with sharp, fang-like teeth. The Anglerfish is a small fish, reaching a maximum legth of only about 12cms but it can swallow prey up to twice its entire body size. It cant swim very fast, so when another sea creature comes near it, it goes invisble. The Anglerfish has a fishing lure on top of its head and uses it to attract its prey. The male Anglerfish is much smaller than the female. When the male matures, its digestive system degenerates, making it impossible for it to feed on its own. It must find a female to attach itself to by using its teeth to bite into her skin and the two become stuck together and their blood vessels join. The male will spend the rest of its live joined to the female. The feamle can carry up to six males on her at a time. The Deep Sea Anglerfish is found throughtout the world's oceans at a depth of over 914 meters.

Psychedelic Frog Fish

PSYCHEDELIC FROG FISH

The Psychedelic frog fish is found in Jakarta-- Indonesia, it uses its fins to hop like a frog along the sea floor. It uses its gills to propel itself, it has peach stripes all over its body and is a length of about 15cms. The frog eats mainly shrimpe and small fish.

Blob fish

The Blob fish lives deep in the water off the coast of Austrailia and Tasmania. It is rearly seen by humans because it lives so far under water the presure is several times higher then it is at sea level. I think it is heaps cool because it has a cool nose, mouth and eyes.

Mados Goblin Shark

This is a funny looking shark

The goblin shark is extremely rare and only found in deep water off Japan and South Africa. People dont know much about it but is thought to be a fish eater. They can grow to about 14 feet. the weird shaped head helps it to find and feed on marine animals. once the goblin shark founds its food it opens its mouth and uses its tounge like a arm and suck it into their sharp teeth.

The weirdest thing about this shark is that it is actually PINK.

What is the Weirdest Sea Ceature Ever?

Vampire Squid A Vampire Squid is a small sea creature that only grows to about six inches in length. It is known to scientists as Vampyroteuthis. In 1903 scientists thought that it was an octopus. It is similar to both squid and octopuses. It has large fins at the top of its body, which they flap as that they fly throught the water. It has the largest eyes relative to its body size of any animal and are a redish almost blue colour. I has eight arms which are all connected with webbed skin. Each arm is lined with a row of suction cups and rows of soft, fleshy spines called cirri. The colours of the supid range from black to a pale red. Their bodies are covered in light-producing organs called photophores which allows the vampire squids to "turn itself on or off." This process is called bioluminescence. They eat prawns, copepods, cnidarians and other small animals. Vampire squids can go a long time without eating which is a good thing because food can be hard to find in extreme depths of the ocean. In this case, they are found in depths of between 90 and 900 metres. They like temperatures between 2 to 6 degrees celsius.

Mr Turra's Deep Sea Dragon Fish

The Deep Sea Dragonfish. Looks utterly horrible. Evidently is a ferocious predator but is very small (approx. 14cm). It lives in the deep oceans of the world - about 1.5km down in tropical oceans.  Its head is large and has some extraordinary looking teeth.  The glowing thing attached to its chin is called a barbel and is used to lure other fish close (to eat) like a fishing lure. This barbel is tipped with a light-producing organ known as a photophore. It can flash on and off and wave back and forwards. The dragonfish also has photophores along the sides of its body. These are used to attract a mate during mating season.Check out the clip from Nemo which shows a similar fish using the photophores to attract Dory and Nemo.
