Assignment - Teenagers and Alcohol
Task
Create a Glogster poster that informs people about teenagers and alcohol. The content of your poster can be wide ranging and could include any or all of the following sub headings:
  • Safe partying
  • Looking after drunk friends
  • Effects of alcohol on the teenage brain and other vital organs
  • Statistics on alcohol use amongst teenagers
  • Consequences of getting drunk i.e. car accidents, sexual assault, embarrassment, losing conciousness etc....
You may come up with other sub headings as long as they relate to alcohol and teenagers.
Remember your poster has limited space so be selective about what you finally put on your poster.

Assessment
Your poster must have:
  • text related to your topic as well as a title
  • at least 1uploaded image
  • at least 1 audio track of you explaining something related to your poster
    • Hint - write a 30 second script and record it using Mr. Brook's mp3 player. Download this mp3 file into a folder and delete it from the mp3 player. Upload this to your poster. There is only one mp3 recorder so prepare your script and then wait until the recorder is available.
  • at least one link to another website that expands on your information.
    • This website should be relevant to the object it is linked to and must be a site that is easily understood.
Your poster could include a video if you can find something appropriate. Video is not a requirement for assessment.

Your poster must:
  • be clear and easy to view i.e. not cluttered and messy in appearance
  • free of errors in the following areas spelling, capitals, punctuation and paragraphing
  • have an appropriate colour scheme i.e. red writing on a black background is inappropriate because it is hard to read.
